Acetylcysteine for Prevention of Renal Outcomes in Patients Undergoing Coronary and Peripheral Vascular Angiography - Main Results from the Randomized Acetylcysteine for Contrast-Induced Nephropathy Trial – Circulation - 2011

Brief Summary: 

Acetylcysteine does not prevent contrast-induced acute kidney injury in patients undergoing angiography. The study drugs were administered orally twice daily for 2 doses before and 2 doses after the procedure.

  If you are just starting to learn echocardiography, you will find that learning the full echo examination protocol will be immensely useful. The full protocol will provide a solid foundation for your career in echo.
